The Turning Point – 2024 Fundraiser

“The Turning Point's mission is to provide counseling, education, and advocacy for those impacted by sexual violence. Our vision is to deliver the highest quality of comprehensive treatment services for survivors of all forms of sexual violence and to set the standard for prevention education that promotes social change to end bullying, sexual harassment and sexual violence."

Your gifts, both large and small, will help us achieve our mission of helping those affected by sexual violence.

$40 provides clothing for a survivor going home from the ER
$50 provides 1 sexual assault exam kit
$200 provides 2 hours of individual counseling
$300 provides 2 hours group counseling or accompaniment of an advocate
$1000 provides 6 months of 24/7 crisis intervention
$2000 provides 50 hours of primary education

One Man's Treasure – 2023 Fundraiser

“One Man's Treasure seeks to empower men recently released from prison who come to the Dallas and Fort Worth area by providing them with clothing and opportunities for networking.

One Man’s Treasure, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, is a simple but vital faith- based ministry that addresses the critical need for decent clothing faced by these returning men that will provide them with a sense of dignity and hope as they seek to change the course of their lives.

Because of the support shown by our donors and volunteers, One Man’s Treasure has served a record of over 2030 men in 2021!

By providing these men with essential clothing and referrals to other resources during the period of critical need, we assist them in changing the course of their lives long term. It is the goal of One Man’s Treasure to continue to help break the cycle of recidivism (return to prison) by helping to bring these often overlooked men successfully into the mainstream of our community.”

THE WEDDING WISH

The Wedding Wish was established by the 2018 SWP Board of Directors. The mission of The Wedding Wish was for SWP to come together as one team for the sole purpose of granting a couple in need the dream wedding that can not obtain through unforeseen and uncontrolled circumstances.

Our first Wedding Wish took place on January 20, 2019 with our beautiful couple, Nikitia & Fred!

Our second Wedding Wish took place on March 8, 2020 with our beautiful couple, Wayne & Ayesha!

Our third Wedding Wish took place on July 17, 2022 with our beautiful couple Kimberly & Marcus!
